33 days to go! Its all about the saving, working and packing up of our house. I'm on information overload with all the mini maps people have been writing their high and low lights on for us. I'm trying not to get into the guidebook geek phase as I'll find it too difficult to sleep. I'm sure my pup Charlie knows there's something up as she's been treated to the best walks of late. Only a couple of weeks until we move in with the folks so our place can be rented out. My mission this week is to collect those spanish phrases that'll get me from airport to hostel! 33 days to go!!!

A tip for a traveller to South America from a concerned mother!
Be very careful crossing streets --especially in Central and South America. Pedestrians do not have the right-of-way in Latin America. Motorists will not slow down for street-crossers so look both ways--twice!
Hoping that you remember to look left then right and then left again (twice) - or is it the other way round in Latin America?
If so its right then left then right again (twice) - safe travels to you both. Will miss you heaps.
hope you had a great time last night;;I did enjoy your special day
take care
